Hernando County is not one kind of place, and a drain company that treats it as one will guess wrong about your pipes. The 1980s subdivisions of Spring Hill, the 1920s grid of Brooksville, a canal lot on the Gulf and a manufactured home near SR-50 all drain differently. We wrote a page for each so you can see what we expect to find before we arrive.
Cities and Towns We Cover
These ten places run from the coast to the Pasco County line. Some are incorporated, some are census-designated places, and one of them, Weeki Wachee, is three different things sharing a name.

Spring Hill Neighborhoods & Corridors and Road Corridors
Inside Spring Hill we split the work by community and by road. Gated and master-planned neighborhoods get their own pages, and so do the busy county roads, where the houses behind the storefronts range from the original 1967 grid to this year's builds.
Seven Hills
Mariner Blvd · Wellington gated 55+ community · golf in south Spring Hill
Silverthorn
Barclay Ave · gated golf community · built 1997-2011
Sterling Hill
Sterling Hill Blvd · master-planned CDD community off Powell Rd
Pristine Place
St. Ives Blvd off Spring Hill Dr · gated community built from the 1990s
Villages of Avalon
Anderson Snow Rd · newest homes near the Pasco line
Barclay Avenue
CR-585 corridor · east Spring Hill beside the Suncoast Parkway
Mariner Boulevard
CR-587 spine · schools, hospital and 1980s subdivisions
Deltona Boulevard
CR-589 · original Deltona-era grid in west-central Spring Hill
Elgin Boulevard
CR-572 · south edge of the septic-to-sewer District A
Commercial Way (US-19)
West Spring Hill · Sinclair dinosaur station · Hunters Lake side
Broadly, the Gulf side is flat, wet and storm-exposed; the middle of Spring Hill is dense 1980s housing on sand; the east end is the newest; and the inland towns along US-41, SR-50 and US-301 are older, rural or both. Pasco County’s Hudson and Shady Hills sit across the line with different utilities but the same kinds of clogs.
What We Ask Before the Truck Rolls
Three questions shape every visit, and they are the reason the pages above read differently from each other.
- Septic or sewer? A 2023 Florida Department of Health inventory counted 44.4 percent of Hernando County parcels as known septic and 40.2 percent as known sewer. No published list tells you which applies to your street, so we ask, and our septic-or-sewer guide shows how to check. On a tank we clear the house-to-tank line only.
- How old is the house? Spring Hill was platted in 1967, but its median house dates to 1993. The year decides whether we are looking for roots at a joint, a sag, or pipe a camera should inspect before any jetting pressure goes in.
- Who owns the stoppage? A backup across several homes belongs to the utility, and Hernando County’s emergency line is (352) 754-4037. A stoppage in your own plumbing is ours. Our post on who to call first covers the gray cases.
Pricing Is the Same in Every Neighborhood
Standard residential hydro jetting runs $350 to $650, a camera inspection is $150 to $300, and most drain jobs fall between $125 and $350. The cost guide explains what moves a quote, and you receive a written price before any work starts.
Your street is not listed?
